Annually, Sisters uses the month of December to show appreciation to their staff through merry making. This here they decided to organize a party at the beach as per staff preference.
There was a new addition to the Pipeline community during this month. Sr Winnie, a Filipino who has been working in Africa for almost a decade at our Centre’s in Ghana.
Several months ago, the ambulance of the Saint Benedict Menni Health Center suffered an unfortunate accident when it was at under maintenances work out of our compound, killing the mechanic who was driving it and rendering it useless.
Student nurses and social workers from the Mother Patern College of Health Sciences who used our facility for clinical purposes, completed their practicum experience during November.
In September, the Mental Health Unit of the Saint Benedict Menni Health Center welcomed three new patients, in addition to another one who had previously spent some time in our facilities under treatment.
Our relationship with Mother Patern College of Health Sciences continues as Nursing students have been asked to use our facility for clinical experience.
Over the last three months an unforeseen circumstance occurred at the compound of the Centre. Huge trees that have been in existence over the last decade were blown off by a storm.
During the month of August, the María Josefa Recio Mental Health Unit of the Saint Benedict Menni Health Center has continued to provide its services both on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
