After his visit to Monrovia, Liberia, to meet the representatives of Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Mikel Tellaeche, Health Programs Director of Sisters Hospitallers´ English Province and director of Aita Menni Hospital in Arrasate-Mondragon (Spain), travelled to Ghana to see the facilities and organization of Sisters Hospitallers´ Health Center in Dompoase, which comprises a Health Center --similar in size and activity to the one that the Sisters own in Liberia-- and a Mental Rehabilitation Center, too.

On the fifth of this month, workers from the different Aita Menni centers, volunteers, company representatives and partner institutions and, in general, friends of the Hospital enjoyed a party in honor of charity and harmony, organized by the Management in an emblematic and special environment: the Chillida-Leku museum, which has been closed to the public for the last 5 years.
04 Sep WHO declares an end to the transmission of Ebola in Liberia for a second time
On the September the 3rd, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared Liberia to be a "country free from human to human transmission of Ebola". 42 days having passed since the second negative diagnostic test was received from the last patient infected in the country. This is the second time that WHO has made this statement in the West African country.

The Oñati musician continued reading up on the topic and, especially following the outbreak of Ebola, was so shaken by the dire situation of the sick that he decided to use his musical resources for fundraising. It was in this manner that the Charity Concerts in favor of the project "We Are Like You", scheduled from May until November, began. The aim is to contribute to the support of the Benedict Menni Health Center of the Sisters Hospitallers in Monrovia.
