30 Sep 2016 Works for the step-down unit improve at Pipeline

During September´s first week, Aita Menni CEO Mikel Tellaeche had the chance to check out the progress of the refurbishment works that are being done to start with the activity at the step-down unit included in the We Are Like You project.

The house for volunteers is finished and the step-down unit is expected to be finished at the end of November.

During their visit, the representatives of Sisters Hospitallers in Liberia had a meeting with Sister Barbara Brilliant, head of the National Catholic Health Council –organization of catholic health centers–, in which they addressed the terms of operation of the future unit.

Funding for the refurbishment of the step-down unit was allocated by the World Health Organisation (WHO), by virtue of the mediation of  Catholic Relief Services (CRS).
